Bed Time

We have a really bad habit of letting McKenna fall asleep in our bed.  When she was about 18 months old she could climb out of her crib faster than you could close the bedroom door. Greg was out of town and it was just easier for me to bring her in our bed.  Not good, I know! Now we have a 5 year old falling asleep in our bed and then one of us (mostly Greg!) puts he in her own bed. Mind you she weighs about 52lbs! A little heavy for me especially when she is sound asleep! On this particular night she was reading her Bible. We are not super religious or anything like that, we have our beliefs. This is one of the most innocent pictures ever. I love it! Also, I didn't "plant" the Bible there! She was really looking at it when she went to sleep. That's my babe!

Bowling

Friday night we decided that we would go bowling.  Ryan and Mallory came with us.  McKenna had a great time actually we all did!  It's nice when you take a 5 year old bowling you get bumpers!!  I'm not sure how the rest would have done without them but I know that I wouldn't have done good at all!!

Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving this year we went up to Vernonia to Greg's parents.  It was nice and relaxing. Greg's cousin Chris came with her two kids, Katie & Lucas. Greg's brother Joe was there with his daughter Cassidy.  It was a pretty small group in comparison to what it normally is but that was fine with me. The kids had a great time playing and goofing around.  The food was great!  Helen spent a few days making it all and it only took us about 20 minutes eat.

Halloween 2008

This year McKenna decided that she wanted to be a witch. Grandma picked out a very cute costume.  So a witch she was!!  A very cute one if I may say.  Not that I'm partial or anything!!  Here are a few photos of the big night!!

Pumpkin Patch 2008

For the past three years we have gone to the Little People Farm.  This year was great because Dot was here from Arizona and she was able to go with us along with my parents.  We didn't stay long but that was fine with me.  They were very busy.  After we picked our pumpkins out we went to Helvetica for lunch.  As you can see it was a beautiful day!!!

I love having a blog!!!

Papa's Girl

My dad is a big San Diego Chargers fan, so when Greg's cousin Ryan went down to San Diego for a game he got McKenna a jersey.  When we went for our family pictures I decided to get some of McKenna in her jersey.  She is papa's girl and it will mean a lot to him.
